Digital Rapids Showcases New Products and Software Versions at NAB2006

Digital Rapids, a provider of video ingest, encoding, transcoding, and media delivery systems, will be showcasing its complete range of professional solutions in booth SL616 at NAB2006.
New Products
Broadcast Manager — enterprise management and control application for multiple live streaming encoders. Broadcast Manager simplifies operation with automatic system setup through discovery and centralized administration and reporting, while bolstering reliability with multiple-mode failover management.
Transcode Manager — enterprise management and load balancing solution for media transcoding. Working in conjunction with the forthcoming XCoder standalone software transcoding application, Transcode Manager features automated job management and failover support.
CableLabs Packager — packages media files with CableLabs-compliant metadata for loading onto a Video on Demand (VOD) server.
New Software Versions
Stream 2.2 — professional encoding with simultaneous output to multiple formats. New features include video processing plug-ins that can be used during live ingest or transcoding; additional Closed Caption options; clip trimming prior to encoding; enhanced MPEG muxing; support for CableLabs VOD files; and
MPEG2 unicast and multicast live streaming.
StreamZHD 2.2 — professional multi-format HD/SD video
encoding solution for archive, dailies, VOD or streaming media delivery from SD or HD source material. Includes the new features of Stream 2.2 plus a new StreamZHD Preview Player for previewing clips through StreamZHD’s VGA and SDI outputs.
Existing Products
StreamZ-CP — adds digital video watermarking to StreamZ for rights protection, tracking and monitoring with sophisticated forensic watermarking technology
from Philips. Includes integrated database for watermarking ticketing.
CarbonHD 1.0 — professional multi-format HD/SD video encoding and playout DDR with integrated software to manage ingest, trimming and playout of clips.
Copper 1.2 — wirespeed, secure delivery of media with tuneable rate control and bandwidth scheduling providing complete control over network utilization.
